Deep Waters - Seasons Fade 12" DC035

Slow moving, dark, meditative are a few things that come to mind while spinning this record. Half of the Cold Mountain Child duo, David Spalvieri-Kruse, guides us through a few piano driven tracks with haunting undertones and a yearning for something. You can really hear the CMC brushwork behind his strange and unfamiliar vocal leads. Although these feel piano driven songs it's hard to ignore the intricate if not delicate guitar work filling in the holes between holes.

Beautiful artwork limited to 15 double sided lathe cut laserdisc records.
